A place where leaves really do change colors

Tennessee is where I want to be! Thursday night, Will and I loaded up the car, picked up our other couple friends Anna and John, and drove 9 hours through the night to Maryville, Tennessee. YES, Will drove ALL night, John was his co-pilot, and Anna and I snoozed on and off the whole way there. When we finally made it, we grabbed some breakfast, and then got to have a taste of a TRUE fall for a few days.

Because Mississippi's fall has consisted of a constant 80 degree temperature or higher, it was so nice to be in a state that had colored leaves and a wonderful temperature in the lower 60s. IT WAS PERFECT!

Words don't even begin to describe the beauty of our God's creation that we observed this weekend.

"Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created. He set them in place for ever and ever; he gave a decree that will never pass away." (Psalm 148:1-6)

Not only was God's goodness and beauty seen throughout His creation, but it was also seen through the love of two of His own, Bryan and Rachel. The whole weekend was dedicated to their wedding weekend! Bryan and Rachel are the perfect match--They both love the Lord Jesus with all of their hearts and in turn have this amazing ability to love and serve other people. Congratulations, Bryan and Rachel on a beautiful wedding weekend!
