HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my blogger friends! I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season!
Not quite sure if I'm ready for all of the holiday fun to end yet....
Sam feels the same way too |
The picture above is of my baby nephew on Christmas night. We had lots of sweet Sam time over Christmas and I just don't think I can ever get enough of it!
I don't like being an aunt....at all. Can't you tell?! JK. |
I also got some great sister time in, which I loooovved! {Yes, I loved seeing my brother too, but he had just gotten his wisdom teeth out, so I don't have a picture to show.}

One of my favorite things about getting married is gaining another sister. I not only have 2 sisters, but 3!

Will and I are very grateful for getting to spend Christmas with the ones we love. Although the holiday season has ended, we are excited to be celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary tomorrow! {Has it really been two years?!?!!} As the saying goes, "Time flies when you are having fun!" Will and I can truly attest to that as we reflect back over the past two years of our marriage.
These past two years have brought good days and bad days, a few cracked plates, a few burnt dinners, a few too many over charges, happy times, and sad times, but through it all, we thank the One who has continually restores and renews us each and every day.
"He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord." Proverbs 18:22
Below are some water-color paintings from Will and my wedding day that we received as an early 2nd anniversary gift. These paintings were given to us by Dr. Kiper and Laura Lee Nelson and their three dear children, Win, Thomas, and Ella.
Susan Woodard is an artist based out of New Orleans, LA, and she has this amazing talent of painting water-color portraits from their original prints.
This is one of my favorite gifts that I ever been given because it is a constant reminder and picture {no pun intended} of the most special day of my life. Thank you, Laura Lee, for your never-ending thoughtfulness--I will always cherish and adore these.As we approach a new year and another year of marriage, I pray that Christ would continually dwell in and through us daily.
Happy New Year to each of you and may the Lord bless you!
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
